This book is a very engaging detective mystery with plenty of suspense. The shocking discovery of the burned pickup truck and the victims inside sets the tone for the entire story. It creates a strong beginning that quickly pulls readers into the investigation.

Detective Joe Erickson is portrayed as a thoughtful and determined investigator. I enjoyed following his process as he slowly puts together the clues. The story shows how solving a crime requires patience and careful thinking.

The plot becomes even more interesting when skeletal remains are found buried in the backyard. This discovery raises many questions and makes the mystery much deeper than it first appears.

By the end of the book, everything comes together in a satisfying way. The author does a great job balancing suspense with storytelling, making this an enjoyable read for mystery fans.

Everyone believed that he was taking good care of him. However, Ronnie was on the street from eight or nine in the morning until ten at night. Ronnie was doing all this for his mother.  To keep his mother out of the hospital, he was working for Charlie. Ronnie was afraid to upset him. He was doing business even though he felt guilty initially for doing it. Charlie has taught Ronnie to never leave a block without making a deal. Charlie kept him in business for a long time. I read this book with the kids in my house.  We came across many animals. We were happy to meet some of the animals below.  1 Jaguar - he has sharp teeth. 2 Mouse - who likes to eat cheese. 3 Owl - who's up all night and is not fond of light. 4 Yak - a big and hairy animal. Interesting facts about different animals piqued my interest in this book. I also recommended this book to my sister for my nephews. The illustrations are pretty and made me enjoy this book with the kids. If you want your child to know about the animals of the animal kingdom then this is the perfect book.
